Siân and Ian have recently been spending a lot of time working with leaders in various Trusts across NHS England. We’re finding it to be both challenging and deeply inspirational to work with people of such compassion, insight and vision. But people who in many instances are also carrying intolerable levels of personal stress.
The Deloitte Human Capital Trends 2014 survey highlighted the importance of addressing what they called ‘the overwhelmed employee trend’ whilst also exploring some organisational responses to this trend, and this is an area upon which much of our Real Time Coaching work is currently focused.
If Deloitte are correct, and we believe that they are, then this should be a high priority focus area amongst organisational leaders in many sectors and we’d like to hear about solutions that are emerging within those teams and across those sectors.
